My first review is of Tactical Firearms in Katy, Texas on Mason Rd. This is a gun store and shooting range and I will say it is the nicest shooting range I have been to. All the lanes are electronically controlled just enter in your distance press go and you target goes, you can change the light level and color on you target. One thing i do love about this range is RAPID FIRE IS ALLOWED, I can bump fire my AK til the barrel smokes(and I have). The range is spotless and doesn't have that gun powder smell and you can tell it has a super air cleaning system probably better that what is required by regulations. Some of the things I don't like about this range is they don't let you keep your brass if you are into reloading your ammo, the range officer though are very nice and helpful I always feel like they are watching you to hard and it uncomfortable at times. The main thing that keeps me not from coming so ofter is the range fees $20 per person per hour which is pretty steep. I guess you get what you pay for.
Now for the gun-store part of the facility is also very nice has a great selection of firearms many of which I have never seen outside of this store. Most of the firearms are of as their name implies tactical, awesome selection of ARs, Shotguns, silencers, and other NFA items. Big plus is that they will prepare a Trust for free to purchase NFA items like silencer, short barreled rifles and shotguns ect which can save you alot of time and money. FFL transfers are cheap also $35 which is pretty good. Overall its a great facility to check out if you are in the Katy area.
